HelloBaby Replacement Parent Unit for HB65

I ordered a new monitor for the camera. It has worked great. Came in fast. The customer service email was GREAT! Highly recommend. I sent a picture of what I needed and they sent exactly what i needed at a timely manor.

I originally ordered this monitor and camera as a set in 2022. Both worked wonderfully until a few months ago (for more than 3.5 years), but then my kids managed to break the screen's charging port. The set lasted way longer than I thought it would, despite my children's every effort to make sure it didn't. Even now, I am sure the screen would have lasted much longer had it not been for the kids, as there were absolutely no other issues with it. The camera is still going strong.
When I went to order the replacement, I noticed that the price on Amazon was cheaper than on this website. As I am trying to boycott Amazon, I decided to message hellobaby to see if they might be willing to price match, and they were! They gave me a discount on the other monitor I was ordering (because their products are so great, I bought another one as a gift), AND gave me the option to either decrease the price of replacement screen or just send me another set (camera and screen) for the same price. They also included two free mounts in my order. HelloBaby really went the extra mile and they have certainly made me a loyal and repeat customer because of it. I would highly recommend their products, not just because of the quality, but because their service also backs it up.

This is my third monitor from hello baby. I originally chose it over other brands because of the reviews about having a good connection in houses with large sq footage. Our first two monitors were fine in that regard but didn’t last long with kids in the house. The monitor would get dropped and pieces or buttons came loose. So now on our third replacement and for whatever reason this one seems to have less of a connection range so my monitor is constantly beeping at night unless I have the parent unit in a very specific spot.

I got this set for a baby shower present and it worked great for a while but then it stopped holding its battery. Also the range isn’t great between the parent unit and the camera. I saw reviews that their customer service was really good and would replace the unit. They were very good and fast at getting back to me. I didn’t qualify for the free replacement because the 1 year warranty had run out But they did offer me a discount to buy the new monitor. The new unit is fine. It holds its charge which is helpful. The new unit does have a different display screen than the previously purchased unit. And the new units nighttime mode isn’t as good as the previous ones. It reads very blue unlike the previous which was black and white. But overall I do like this product and the company!
